A Talk given by Debra West & Byron Young of Caxton Theatre was much enjoyed Thurs 21sr March.  The audience gained much insight into the commitment by all involved in putting on 8 plays per year.  Who knew that there are 3 performances going on at any one time: one a play in production with auience to attract, another at the stage of rehearsal and 'honing' ready for an empty stage and a third as a 'reading' towards auditions for parts.  All in all, 24 plays going on at some stage or another at any one time - and that without counting the Studio Bar Productions as a testing ground for new directors and actors!

We were left in awe that each Caxton members' involvment.  Debre and Byron were warmly thanked for giving their time for such an interesting Talk .about Grimsby's own amateur theatre in its 81st year .
