19th August 2023 sees 140 years of Grimsby's People's Park celebrated with a displays Park articles by NE Lincs Archives and members' photogrpahs, guided Tree Walks hourly from 11am (after Saturday an online guide will be made availble). GCDCS have been instrumental in coordinating this event with the Tree Walks made possible with the knowledge of Park Care and venue support by Cafe on the Park
The day will start at 10.30 with the unveiling of the recently discovered brass plaque from the 1883 opening and now re-sited in the cafe .
